I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, as well as a Master Addictions Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor. Additionally, I hold credentials as a Certified Trauma & Abuse Psychotherapist and an Ordained Minister. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing at Levels I and II and serve as an approved Train the Trainer for the Office of Behavioral Health. I am also recognized by the Department of Corrections for managing Sex Offender and Domestic Violence cases.
Since 2007, I have been actively involved in the criminal justice field, beginning my career in Security. I transitioned to roles as a Case Manager, Therapist, and Clinical Coordinator for an Intensive Residential Treatment program that I helped to implement within a halfway house. I further served as an Outpatient Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor for a Medication-Assisted Treatment program, as well as a Mental Health Professional in a county detention facility.
My experience includes supervising interns, Licensed Professional Counselor candidates, Certified Addictions Specialists and candidates, and sponsoring counselors for Medicaid. I am an approved Practice Monitor for the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and a Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC). I have also co-supervised Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist candidates. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Management and a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling.
