Kyle hunt
Kyle’s journey began at a young age, entering the criminal justice system at 16 as a result of struggles with alcohol that quickly progressed into addiction. For years, his life was shaped by cycles of substance use, incarceration, and instability. Through perseverance, accountability, and support, he was able to break free from that cycle and begin rebuilding his life with purpose and direction. Today, his story is one of redemption—moving from fentanyl and felonies to fitness, service, and building a future grounded in growth and hope. He brings lived experience into his work, meeting individuals where they are and reminding them that change is possible. His goal is to support others in creating stability, discovering their strength, and believing in a future beyond their past.
What truly sets Kyle apart is his lived experience; having entered his first treatment center at age 12 and incarcerated by 18, he intimately understands the complexities and struggles of recovery. This authentic perspective fuels his unwavering commitment to peer coaching, allowing him to connect deeply with those he supports through NAS Recovery Solutions.
Kyle is passionate about community engagement. He has mentored students at the Family Learning Center, volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, and the Dream Center, and has inspired many as a guest speaker at high schools, universities, and pivotal events such as Roger’s Memorial Hospital’s blue ribbon cutting ceremony. Kyle’s devotion to helping others rediscover their strength and purpose makes him a beacon of hope for individuals seeking meaningful transformation on their recovery journey.
