Patrick Moore
My name is Patrick, and I started using drugs when I was 13, which led to a cycle of incarceration that consumed most of my adult life. I broke my back and was paralyzed before going to prison, but while I was inside, I found a group called RF2 that changed everything. This community was built on honesty, integrity, and accountability, and I saw how the workouts and encouragement from the coaches positively impacted people's lives. I knew I wanted to be part of that.
When I was released, the support I built inside continued. I reached out for help and guidance, and it made me believe that I could succeed. Without that group and the support from my friends and counselors, I never would have made it.
That's why I became a peer coach. Peer coaching saved my life, and now, I dedicate myself to giving others the same kind of support and community that helped me rebuild my own life.
